MEAN WELL High-Power Low Profile Power Supplies

The MEAN WELL DPU-3200 power supplies are ideal for applications where space is limited, and a high amount of power is required.  

The ongoing trend for equipment design is for more functionality to be packed into a smaller unit. The MEAN WELL DPU-3200 power supplies help you achieve this goal. They are only 107mm wide and 41mm high, yet they deliver around 3200 WATTs, see the following table: 

Connect in Parallel for Even More Power 

If 3200 WATTS is not enough for your application, then you can connect up to 5 power supplies in parallel to give around 16000 WATTS of power, depending on the actual model you are using. This is made possible by the ‘current sharing’ function. 

Integration with PLCs and System Controllers 

The DPU-3200 series power supplies can be integrated with PLCs and other system controllers, so that you can trim either the output voltage, or current according to what is happening within your process. This is done by applying an analogue voltage signal, or there is an option for either PMBus, or CANBus protocol support.  

There is also a DC OK and temperature alarm output for remote monitoring of the power supply’s status.  

The power supplies can also be switched on and off remotely, there is an auxiliary power output to provide power to a control unit if required.  

High Reliability and Efficiency 

The MEAN WELL DPU-3200 series power supplies are very efficient, boasting an efficiency rating of up to 94.5%. 

They are also highly reliable, coming with a manufacturer’s 5-year warranty.
