DC-UPS with Ethernet Connection: Continuity Under Control

To support this need, ADELSystem designed the DC-UPS CBI Series DC-UPS with Ethernet interface to integrate power supply, digital control, and connectivity into a single module.
Features of ADELSystem CBI Series
The CBI line devices with Ethernet combine the functions of power supply, battery charger, and DC backup module into a single DIN rail-mount unit. They ensure continuous power at 12, 24, or 48 VDC when connected directly to the electrical network (90–305 VAC), automatically switching between operation to battery mode in case of power outages, without service interruption.
The Ethernet interface enables communication via MODBUS TCP/IP, SNMPv3, and HTTPS, allowing supervision and remote monitoring of electrical parameters, battery status, operating alarms, and environmental conditions. All data can be accessed through an integrated web server, SCADA software, or network monitoring systems to enable proactive maintenance and to reduce unplanned downtime. The CBI Series also meets the EU Cybersecurity Act’s security and data protection criteria to prevent unauthorised access to your data.
Functions
The CBI Series’ advanced internal software can manage selectable charging curves that allows the unit to adapt to various battery types, including lead-acid, AGM, GEL, NiMH, lithium, and LiFePO4.
The system can also independently diagnose anomalies, such as short circuits, polarity inversion, sulphation, or battery pack disconnection, reporting the status in real time to the operator through the Ethernet network.
