ADELSystem CBI2501224A All in One DC-UPS available from ADM Systems

The ADELSystem CBI2501224A All-in-One DC-UPS has arrived at ADM System!

Adding to the portfolio of ADELSystem’s DC-UPS, the CBI2501224A maintains all of the usual features of the CBI range. These include multi-chemistry support (including Li-Ion), dual alarm relays, and multi-stage charging, which features recovery mode for Lead-Acid batteries. It also offers remote reporting via voltage-free contacts for DC okay, battery low, or fault. Temperature probes can be added to compensate for charge rates in hot environments.

The new format, CBI2501224A, is compact and provides full reporting and control via Modbus, a communications protocol used for transmitting information between electronic devices. This includes data on State of Health (SoH) and State of Charge (SoC), which indicate battery condition and remaining capacity. With Modbus, adding a display or gateway device (DPY351) enables communication over Ethernet networks. The CBI250 features a Controller Area Network (CAN)-based ADELBUS interface, including electronic fuses and display modules for their control and monitoring.

Moreover, an interface using the RS-485 standard (a method for electrical communication that reduces noise and allows longer cable lengths) and the Modbus RTU protocol (a communication protocol for connecting industrial electronic devices) allows a PC or Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) to monitor and control the CBI250, as well as any ADELBus devices that are connected to it. This integration, together with all ADELSYSTEM accessories, enables a truly independent system for maintaining electrical continuity. Additionally, it enables monitoring and controlling all system parameters using application tools, software programs designed to manage and oversee system functions.
